Singing for the Samaritans, 11th December 2024

The choir’s final event of the year 2024 was a sing-song of carols at The Greenhouse, Newport Road, Llantarnam, Cwmbran on Wednesday 11th December. The collection in aid of Samaritans raised £145.00.

The pub really made us feel very welcome that evening, though some customers might have felt a little overwhelmed by finding themselves finishing their evening meal surrounded by a large crowd of singers. They seemed to accept us in good heart. We very much enjoyed singing so many of the old, familiar carols and we hope those gathering at The Greenhouse, ready for their usual Wednesday night quiz, did so too.
