Welcome to Cwmbran Baroque Singers

We are a mixed choir with a wide repertoire. Our musical tastes range from the Renaissance through to the twenty-first century, taking in the Baroque, of course, but also Classical, Romantic and more modern styles, both sacred and secular.

If you enjoy singing and are looking for the chance to join a choir, do contact us or come along to rehearsals, 7-9pm on Wednesday nights in Richmond Road Baptist Church Hall, Cwmbran.

After Easter we begin work on the repertoire for our Summer concerts. Do come and sing with us at rehearsals, or come along to join the audience on:

Saturday 14th June at 12 noon. Concert in St Woolos Cathedral, NP20 4ED

Saturday 28th June at 7pm. Joint Concert with Harmonise at Holy Trinity Church, Pontnewydd, Cwmbran NP44 1AT

Saturday 6th December at 7.30pm. Christmas Concert at St John the Baptist Church, Newport NP20 4LP

Saturday 18th April 2026 at 7.30pm. Spring Concert at St John the Baptist Church, Risca Road, Newport NP20 4LP

Our most recent performance was the magnificent Brahms Requiem on 5th April 2025.
