Joint Concert with Harmonize

Cwmbran Baroque Singers and Harmonize have agreed to team up for a joint concert on Saturday 28th June at 7pm.

The two choirs have rather different traditions. Whereas Cwmbran Baroque began its life bringing lesser known early music to Cwmbran's audiences, Harmonize began life as The New Harmony Singers, sharing the kind of music its audiences might hear on Radio 2. Both choirs have extended the scope of their repertoires since then, and we hope between us to offer the audience choral pieces in a very wide range of musical styles, which we feel sure they will enjoy.

We shall be singing at Holy Trinity Church, Pontnewydd, Cwmbran. This attractive, small Victorian church is tucked into its lovely green churchyard in Church Road, just uphill from Pontnewydd village, in Cwmbran NP44 1AT.

We are very much looking forward to singing in this lovely church and delighted to be sharing the concert with Harmonize.
