Our Accompanist: Mr Martyn Ridge

Martyn began his musical career with piano and organ lessons as a child, passing grade 8 with distinction.  This won him a scholarship to the Royal School of Music, but a career in Lloyds Bank beckoned.

He has held posts of Organist and Choirmaster at various churches from age 14 including All Saints, Newport;  St Mark’s, Newport and St Mary’s, Abergavenny.  Martyn is currently Organist and Choirmaster at St Denys Lisvane, Cardiff, where he directs a strong and thriving church choir.
